north till ya smell it, west till ya step in it.
how about it, I was 17 when I took my official visits....
I was also 17, just turned 18 on my OVs but who cares how old the kid is....people make mistakes, just like him.
I wish getting a little to hammered was the worst thing I would of done at that age...
I am shocked that Quinn Blanding has not yet been mentioned. He is the #1 safety next year out of the same UVA pipeline school and friends with Smoke. UVA was thought to be the clear early favorite, this could change things!
Katzenmoyer got cited for underage drinking during his official visit to Ohio State in '95 or '96.

Actually some parents hold their kids back for multiple reasons but sports is a HUGE factor. When I coached AAU hoops there was a team out of Louisville called Team Truth. We were an 8th grade team but they had older kids on their team. When i talked to their coach, he told me most of those kids were held back to gain a sports advantage.
Hell I met a guy that is honestly considering holding his 4th grader back for sports reasons. It's becoming the norm in some places.
This is true, but to be honest if I had one more year to fill out it would have made a huge difference between Junior High School me.
Sounds like he had a good visit.. ... Wondering where his hosts were, need to keep that stuff in doors and out of Johnny Law's view..
