Teddy played in the Big 33 game in 2004 and won the MVP. There has been a player from the Big 33 in every Super Bowl if you didn't know.

Wow, thats crazy. Pretty cool stat, thanks for posting.
ECU grad, tOSU fan for life. Father since 1/12/13.
Surprised that Whitner nor Boone played in that game.
If my memory is correct, Whitner didn't play because he enrolled at OSU early
#19 has been one of the most controversial players in the bay here recently. He shows poor judgement on special teams, as well as a poor route knowledge.
Yea he won't be on the team next year unfortunately. He signed a 1-year deal and was out for most of the beginning with an ankle injury. When he came back he dropped a few punts and even lost his spot to Kyle Williams a few times but Williams went out with an ACL. They brought LaMichael James up when Hunter went down for the season and he has taken the KR job from Ginn. So Ginn is only returning punts right now. He rarely gets a snap on offense because his route running is poor as it's always been.
Once Kyle Williams comes back next season I think Ginn will be gone. AJ Jenkins should get a chance to get in there as well. He was a first round pick WR from Illinois and hasn't played a snap yet this season. I'd say he's been a bit of a disappointment thusfar but he hasn't been in any games to really say that. I'm a 49er fan and love seeing Buckeyes on the team but if they aren't getting it done, oh well! Ginn had a good PR today to set up the go ahead TD though.
As an aside does anyone know how many super bowls have had Ohio state players? I have no idea but it would be interesting to know.
Actually, GetYaWeightUp, Jenkins had 2 targets last week, one of which he dropped for 0 catches on the year. With Manningham, Moss and Crabtree all healthy, to go along side Vernon Davis, Delanie Walker, Frank Gore, Kendall Hunter, and LaMichael James I think they'll be ok for the foreseeable future.
Teddy played at least 8-10 snaps from scrimmage that I counted today. When I talked with him in the locker room after the game he was very excited and dancing around. Got to talk to all four of he Buckeye alums on the Niners.
As a buckeye fan I still can't like the 49'rs due to their coach having such a school up north background. Only reason I don't like the patriots is due to their qb being a sucky college alumni of the place up north.
Dancing or not he still sucks as an NFL receiver and ko returner.
Damn justice league do work. I hope ginn gets his skill and mind together to play and do better.
Yeah, but those pansies in PA got sick of losing most of the time so they want to play a different State. I bet in the near future the Super Bowl streak is snapped.
Yeah I doubt Maryland will pull their weight on this one.
Ted Ginn Jr "sucks" as a kick returner?? He is the only player in NFL history to have a two one-hundred yard kickoff return TDs in one game.
Its amazing how of my fellow members of Buckeye Nation dump all over Ted Ginn!
Has he really had a chance to prove himself as a WR in the NFL? If the 49ers don't want him, then by all means come on back Home and play for my Browns.
Coach Chudzinski wants to incorporate a "vertical passing game" who better than TGII to add the deep dimension to the passing element, of a hopefully more exciting attack. Additionally he can take over the KO/PR duties since the Browns more than likely will not retain Josh Cribbs
Screw the Big 33 now that they're afraid to play Ohio.
The big 33 was moved because so few Ohio players were attending due to a conflict with a Ohio all star game. It was moved east to Philly area is my recollection.
OSU had a player in each Super Bowl until very recently. I can't recall the one that broke it.
