They have a long article on his junior day visit. I didn't see it linked.
Hurd said his next visit will be “maybe up to Ohio State,” but he “definitely” will return to Tennessee — and some of the other schools he’s considering — during spring practice “just to see how they operate as a team.”
Getting Hurd on campus again soon should keep the Buckeye in 1st.
Look at this pic of him compared to the touted safety, Kelly (OSU has also offered). Hurd is huge!
Would be amazing to land a kid like this. Dunn ball and smith will be seniors and juniors when.gr arrives I'm campus so having a big back to go along with eze and Wilson. Will be huge. Yeah I know wilson is a slot but he too will get some runs on options and so forth.
Here's the link in case anyone is interested.
It's worth the read - Ryan Callahan writes good unbiased recruiting reports (IMO).
Well, I believe there will be a swagger at Tenn. until they become road kill for ALA. LSU. GA, and FLA. Then we will see.
Didn't someone post on here Hurd was essentially a lock to OSU and its not a well kept secret?
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
Never had a problem with a star staying home to play for his state team. Trouble with Tennessee is that nobody knows how Butch Jones will fare in the SEC. His tour in Cincy wasn't long enough for any of his recruits to make an impact. According to 247 our main competition for Hurd will be Florida.
Hurd, you will look much better in the S&G
Either Hurd is 6'5" or Todd Kelly is 5'11". But even so I hope they are both wearing the S&G in 2014.
Hurd is a RB listed at 6'3 and there is no reason to exaggerate height at that position once you hit a legit 5'10.
So I think Hurd is every bit of 6'3 and yes, Kelly is listed at 6'0 for his recruiting but probably stands a solid 5'11
