Ohio state would beat lsu ...
Cocaine's a hell of a drug.
Lol I was shocked to hear him say that...
I was listening too....he's awful.
Don't think it's that outrageous of a statement
Mettenberger is the worst
What's so crazy about his statement? LSU has had trouble putting up points against wet paper bags this year. One good performance doesn't negate the fact that LSU's offense has been horrendous the majority of the year.
They are better at the point of attack on both sides of the ball, and their defense is light years ahead of ours.
Anything can happen during a game, but to favor us in that match up is fools gold.
"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
I never doubt the Buckeyes or Urban Meyer.
LSU and Mettenberger (by far best game of his life) looked great in a rivalry game on a Saturday night in drunken and hostile Baton Rouge (in which Miles was previously 36-1) with a bye week to prepare.
I've also seen them struggle mightily with powerhouses Towson and Auburn (one of the worst teams in all of FBS this year). LSU goes as Mettenberger goes. When he is off, which is more the case than not, they can be quite pedestrian.
So, while OSU hasn't beaten any world beaters , and struggled along the way, so has LSU. They are far from a complete team this year.
Urban vs. the mad hatter. No problem beating them....
I watched most of the game last night and I will be honest, the speed of the defense on both sides was very impressive. LSU's DB's know how to cover and they sure as hell know how to tackle. None of this arm crap in their tackling and their speed just seemed to me (for both teams) to be above and beyond the Buckeyes and the Big 10. I think this is what Urban judges our speed to and what he is used to seeing and recruiting towards. Speed kills as they say, and I don't think we are there yet and we would have trouble playing and winning against either of these teams.
