Manning...and then there is EVERYBODY ELSE
Kobe woulda been better RB than both.... better QB too
Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

What!? Montana is the best QB to ever live and THEN it is everybody else. Sadly, I think we can almost mention Tom Brady in the same breath as we do Montana.
I'd rather have Bradshaw, he won more SB's than Brady. Lol
It would depend entirely upon the criteria.
For me personally? I prioritize winning over statistics. Nobody gives a crap if you passed for 4,000 yards a season if you team didn't make the playoffs or got outed in round one. Stats are for fans. Winning > All.
Troy Aikman hands down and this isn't even close in my opinion simply because of the super bowl rings. Troy had a better team than Manning for sure and we can say if Manning was on the Cowboys teams then he would've won too....and he probably would off the back of a hall of fame RB like Emmitt Smith. But he wasn't. Aikman was. So Aikman gets the rings and Aikman > Manning .......in my opinion.
People are free to disagree and thats fine. We can have a discussion but lets not hurl names at each other due to disagreeing. That Jordan / James thread got out of hand and it didn't have to. Respect each others opinions even if they differ.

Husker! Don't just start a topic and run away! If you were legitimately asking a question, enter the discussion. If you're bored and just making others spend time, for me I'm not interested in being fluffed.
Just saying. . .
The closest that I will ever get to a Buckeye ring or Gold Pants. Saw it sold on e-bay April 29, 2011 for $8500.
You touch on a very important part. Aikman didn't need to throw the ball 40 times a game. Dallas was a power running team with a hall of fame RB. Aikman didn't have monster stats because he didn't need them to win. And winning beats statistics every single day of the week for me.
Seriously? He had arguably the greatest offensive line and running back combo of all time. I probably could have won a Super Bowl as the Cowboys QB.
Being a "winner" is a plus when it comes to evaluating someone - but it's only a little bump. Players don't win championships - teams do. Do you think there's any way in hell that if the Colts had Aikman in the 2000's that he would have lead Indy to a championship?
I'm shocked this is even a debate topic. It's Manning and it isn't even close. Aikman played on some great teams and was a very good QB but he isn't close to Manning's level.
I would take Bradshaw's over Brady too.
its not like Manning had a bunch of scrubs. when its all said and done he had one if not two HOF wide receivers. Edgerin at the time may have been the best all around back in the league. a great offensive line and he had a fantastic tight end.
This guy is an informed poster. He said in a non-trolling context that we would win 5-6 games in 2011 and got DV'd to eternity for it. Hence the 3 stars.. The best part was he didn't come back with 'I told you so', as a true Buckeye fan would..
_ichigan Football would be Minnesota without The Great State of Ohio!! O-H! I-O!
Manning by a mile. This isn't even close. Aikman was a good QB, but not in Peyton's league.
kobe by 2 miles!!
Ive posted this before..not sure why you're surprised now...
Yeah, I am surprised. Everyone that watched Montana play could tell you how great the guy was. NFL players agree that he is the greatest. If you seriously think Manning is better, then you must not have watched Montana play. Montana was flawless, accurate, and played his best in the biggest games (which is something that Manning hasn't been able to do). Manning is no scrub, but I definitely think there are better QB's than him.
