I would like one crazy fast linebacker and a super talented point guard to go, please.
So when is Thad going to get us an elite 6'4" receiver with glue for hands and 4.5 speed?
"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
I like everything I'm seeing about Braxton Miller. With the lack of playmakers we have, he's going to continue to be that guy who keeps defenses honest (at least until we get Jalin Marshall here).
I like Jordan Hall. I don't like his speed or his size, but he's got good wiggle and has been a serviceable return man. That said, I don't want him redshirting. I want him doing his thing his senior season and then moving on. We're getting in on so many good running backs lately and I'd hate to see their talent shelved because of Jordan Hall coming back another year.
Regarding the Mitchell's, I'd love to see us land both. However, seeing as how we missed out on the younger Heuerman and the younger Smith, I'm not confident about landing younger brothers of current Buckeyes. Maybe it will be different with Mickey Mitchell because he plays a different sport. Either way, let's start with getting Mike Mitchell first. A record setting SPARQ national champion would be a great complement to Ryan Shazier and Curtis Grant.
Storm Klein- Don't let it hit you where the big man split you. This isn't the first time he's been in trouble. Not saying I don't want to hear his side of the story, but at a certain point of getting in trouble, a pattern starts to develop. Everything I've heard was that even in high school, the kid was a huge @sshole. If that's the case, good riddance. If he sincerely is innocent, I hope he gets his fair shake but I'm not so sure there isn't truth to him having an attitude problem.
I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.
Why was it that Texas isnt recruiting Mitchell? Is their BBall program recruiting his Brother?
Its at least a little suspicious when a seemingly top flight prospect is not recruited by the Big Dog in-state program, and with UT using different recruiting tactics these days than the last many years, we cant point to some of the common reasons you might have. If we turned around the situation to an Ohio kid, we almost always know a reason or there is a rumor attempting to explain why he isnt being recruited.
Nothing huge, just a natural question to ask.
I have two daughters. When my oldest was in high school, she told me that the guys were scared of me. I was surprised and kind of upset at first.
But then I said good!!
