This is a great point, I never thought of. Mississippi does have a much more fertile recruiting area than Minnesota. The also have a really good in-state CC feeder program. I just have never seen a bottom feeder program like Ole MISS pull in these types of kids. I mean this is arguably the worst program in the SEC and there coach has done absolutely nothing. They are coming off a season where they went 3-5 in the SEC and best non-conferece win was PITT who was under .500 for the year. Yet they pull two of the top 6 or 7 Midwest kids out of Illinois and Indiana? Tunsil is all but a done deal to Georgia with 3 time champ in four years Alabama the only compeitition but he goes to Ole Miss and Georgia is reportedly out and Ole Miss is likely the destination for the #1 Olineman out of Florida? I am just not buying it.
Your argument makes the assumption the teams Minnesota plays in the Big 10 are equal to the teams Ole Miss plays in the SEC.
No comparison between the 2 conferences. Minnesota would go winless every year in the SEC East or West.
miss- 21 + 1 projected draft pick
ill- 20 + 4 projected draft picks
mich st- 19 + 4 projected draft pick
so 9th if you logically count ill and mich st but not mary
You do realize the SEC hasent always been so good right?
Seriously? Oh..thats my bad then... pfffft
Good info..ill have to check the date on what I was looking at...it showed 5 and that was in 2012 I thought...oh well....Maryland? ....lol
What do you feel is the reason for the success your program is seeing in recruiting this year? If you other fans try to derail or do any cheating, NCAA coming posts, I will RA the hell out of you.
Dear Mr. Freeze,
If you are going to cheat, please don't make it so f*cking obvious. Landing Treadwell was one thing, but Nkemdichi and Tunsil are another. I would suggest you stick with 1 5* per year until you demonstrate you can win more than 50% of your conference games before you start handing duffle bags of $$$ to the top players in the country. I agree that SMU pulled it off for a while and had a backfield of Dickerson and James for a bit, but we all have seen what happened to them and you are being just about as painfully f*cking obvious as those jacka$$es...TIFWIW.
