whether Powell ever plays a game for the Buckeyes or not, he will make the team better just buy being on it. The type of good energy he puts out works wonders for a locker room.
"When you get to represent a school where you really wanted to go you will do anything for them," Powell said. "If they say, 'Tyvis, we need you to pass the water out,' I'd make sure everyone had their water."

I met Tyvis' family at a bagel shop on the morning of the m!ch!g@n game last year. After meeting his parents and Grandmother it is easy to understand why he is such a great young man!

Loved Meyer's comment on "The Fragel Award". Who's going to be "The Fragel"? The guy that comes out of nowhere to make an impact on the team.
He mentioned Tyvis Powell first, and followed up with Chase Farris and Taylor Decker, as the frontrunners, thus far.
