Props to Tyvis powell for coming straight off a red-shirt year into the starting "Star" position on the first day of spring practice! Thats incredible! i know devan bogard is still out due to injury.... but is it safe to say Vonn bell will start from day one at the Star?
I don't think so...the most likely starter will be Bogard and Bell will be in the 2 deep at FS/SS.
Buffalo, San diego state, california and Florida a@m are our first four games!!!! He played against better competition at the under armour game, where other than vernon hargraves he was the best defender in the game! Everyone on our roster for the star position is "unproven", realistically u wouldnt give a five-star playmaker the first crack to play against Buffalo??? By the time we hit conference play, after those four games he's a vet! I understand not trying to jump the gun, but damn... Mike doss is not a senior at the "Star" position this year...
First off BELL is not a Star. He is a true Safety. The star position is the Hybrid S/LB. IF Bell plays it will be at the Safety spot.
Hail Hail to MeatChicken the Cesspool of the World!
Spring dept charts mean nothing. Just fun for message board fonder.

Also if we are talking about incoming freshman who could play the star then look at worely and lee. They are more likely then Bell.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I agree, at THIS point in the spring, he depth chart doesn't mean much.
At the end of spring practice? That's an all together different thing.
I'm just happy to see depth at positions that have been devistated by injury over the last couple of years. Tyvis will push people with his good energy and work ethic. He seems to take the old Woody ethic of they might be better than me or more talented, but they will never outwork me.
nope - don't think so
