This is from OSU (and goes against what the pizza delivery boy said -- he said Mrs. Fickell called the next day to complain):
Here’s background on this pizza issue:
§ A slight (or a flippant remark or an inappropriate comment) was made by an employee of a retail establishment to Mrs. Fickell.
§ The Fickells DID NOT call the manager to complain.
§ The manager found out about the incident (presumably from someone at the restaurant).
§ The manager called the Fickells … to ask what was said by his employee. They told him.
§ And just like they did not place a call to complain, they also did not ask that anyone be fired. In fact, they feel terrible that this person lost his job.
All they did was order pizza.
I don't know. Sounds kinda sketchy to me.
What's sketchy about it?
Guy should have just signed up for a bucknuts account and ranted about Fickell Poor Defense like the rest of us.
I commented on the original thread, but think it’s worth repeating here.
The Iacono family (who also own Tommy's Pizza) are longtime supporters of OSU and the athletic department. This may help explain their swift reaction.
They understand it's not good for business to tolerate employees who "joke" with the family of prominent staff in this manner - even if the customer knows it was in jest. It could harm their relationship with OSU and reputation in the community.
If that's all that happened, and nobody really called to complain, I don't understand why the guy lost his job. It's just weird......he had to stomp on his manager's toes or something to get fired.
Man get off the bottle
Does anyone know what the comment was by the employee?
It was in regards to the OSU defense and how they need to tackle better.
He said the team should be tackling better, this was after the MSU game I believe.
This whole thing seems rather cheesy. Ham it up all you want, and it doesn't matter how you slice it, pizzagate will be stuffed on the back burner by game time. The Bucks will rise up.
Everyone knows that most pizza delivery guys are Michigan grads so it is entirely believable that he made some rude remark to Amy Fickell. He probably deserved it. ;-)
Can't believe this is being discussed! Who gives a shit why a loser pizza boy got fired.
I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters.

I'm not buying it. Mrs Fickell had to call otherwise how would anyone know a comment was made. Just not logical!
