Meyer happy with effort. Not necessary with execution, but likes the effort from his players.
Best thing about 6-0 is the chance to go 7-0.
Ouch....hope he heals quick. He'll be missed
"Champions" on defense: Christian Bryant, John Simon (co-DPOG), Brad Roby (co-DPOG).

Ouch...will Perry get the starting nod?
Well, time for the young linebackers to grow up fast.
Meyer calls loss of Sabino a "tremendous blow." Best-case is he'll be back in three weeks. Worst-case is longer. Had surgery and had a plate put in.
Meyer says he doesn't want his players talking about going for AP national championship.
On couple naming their kid after Braxton.
"I'm sure there's a lot of Tebows running around this world too."
Yes, that is the plan as of now.
Meyer says he does not think Braxton is a Heisman candidate right now. He's someone to watch. Maybe in 2-3 weeks we can start talking about that. He thinks at the right time he will be a candidate if he continues to play the way he's playing.
(On naming babies after sports celebs...)
Reporter: "Are there any 'Little Urbans'?"
Meyer: "Be careful how you word that."
Meyer won't commit to Perry definitely starting. Says you'll have to ask Fickell. Then SID informs him media is not scheduled to meet with Fickell this week.
"You're tough, Jerry."
Meyer says Southward "lost his love for the game and wanted to get closer to home."
Meyer says they are still evaluating whether Jamie Wood will be able to come back next season, but it doesn't look good after two shoulder surgeries.
Meyer says Cardale Jones' tweet was "an ignorant comment" but that they are "ready to move on." Meyer has spoken with Jones who was very apologetic. Meyer says Jones is a "hell of a kid" and says he actually does well in the classroom.
Meyer says the young players had a full-scale scrimmage for 25 minutes yesterday while veterans (and young guys that played) ate a victory meal.
