I'm upset that he apologized and wish he wouldve just ignored this group. I really hate these politically correct organizations that want to make a big deal out of everything because they have nothing better to do with their time.

Screw the soft ass people. I dont mean any disrespect but damn there is always going something for anyone who wants to make a big deal about race, sexual prefernce, ect. This feels like a never ending thing. I dont mean to sound biased but you can make an arguement for anything now-a-days. Stop apologizing for everything. Oh lavender is a gay color we feel disrepected. GET OVER IT!!!
“Defeat is a state of mind; no one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality.” - Bruce Lee
The ones that need to apologize, are the ones wearing the lavender shirts.
Why should gays/lesbians be able to determine what straight people do. There is such a thing as free speech in this country. I just don't understand why one sexual preference should be allowed to have a group and complain about discrimination and not another. Why isn't there a scarlet and straight organization?
Then conversely, why should straight people be able to tell gay people what to do? (see: marriage)
Free speech goes both ways, I hope you realize. You can say whatever you want in a free society. But there are still consequences to it.
The Scarlet and Gay is actually Ohio State's GLBT alumni society and they are also allowed to express their opinions on topics that they feel relate to them.
And please don't act like straight people don't have any sort of rights towards speech or anything like that. That "pro-family values" group 1 Million Moms attempted (unsuccessfully, I might add) to boycott JCPenney's simply because they made Ellen Degeneres their spokesperson.
Also, if you want to start a "scarlet and straight" organization to promote advocacy of straight issues, more power to you, friend.
THE correct answer in all the bull-sh#t!
Ding Ding Ding! Get in there and work your ass off so nobdy is wearing the lavenders and this isn't even an issue!

The Gay community does"nt own the color spectrum. Urban should be able to use whatever color jersey he wants the kids to wear for whatever purpose.
"Sorry about that, I meant to high five your face!"
