I believe he is healthy now, and wearing #8 but why in the world has he not been given any snaps on offense at WR? He played well in the brief time on the field last year. Is MIchael Thomas a better option than him right now? If so Reed should transfer this season so he can go start elsewhere, why should he stay. And please dont tell me, "he hasn/t learned the offense yet"

Meyer was asked this question on his callin show a couple weeks ago. His answer was he needs to step up and get better.
Really so we should run everyone off.. You know depth can disappear really quick right.. Good thing fans aren't making the decisions around here. I bet you think Chris fields should leave also
Too logical, too obvious, too simple, therefore unacceptable to this board...
so if you are a soph, 7th on the depth chart at WR and two more are coming in next season not to mention one coming off a redshirt you would stay? that makes tons of sense! I would leave in a heartbeat. Remember Sam Maldonado? IIRC he left after being buried on the depth chart and had a solid end to his career at Maryland. Just because they leave OSU or dont choose us doesnt mean they arent any good. Coaches make mistakes all the time. Hell, we have 2 safeties in our starting lineup right now that have never been taught how to wrap up and tackle.
My recollection was he was the best receiver we had on the field the first few games of last year. Seems like he is playing a little more often (I've seen him on special teams) as this season has gone on.
I predict Verlon will make some big plays for the Buckeyes someday. This is big boy D1 football and if you are not a freak it can take you some time to get back from a serious injury and play at your top level. It takes a lot of hard work and practice over time.
