We may be in a dog-fight with Saban and the Tide for this kid. Just read about his visit to Bama and he was very positive about it. Said the coaches down there said they really like him and need a big-body WR like him on the roster. They told him they want him to come back with his Mom this summer, etc. This definitely doesn't sound like Saban just throwing out an "uncommitable" offer to mess with Meyer. Kief said he has no leader and summed up the visit with the following:
"I like their winning mentality," Kief said. "I like everything they can bring to the table. It's an overall great package. It's really balanced. I plan on getting back down there during the summer."
Relax. How can any kid visit an elite program and not enjoy himself?
Overreact much. No one said this was an offer to blow smoke up Meyer's Ass. Kief is a legit National WR prospect. Kids say they have no leader, but that is a lie. Every kid has a leader or who they think they end up playing for. Time will tell if that changes but every kid has a leader.
Hail Hail to MeatChicken the Cesspool of the World!
Way too early to panic. It's only March. Saban's a good recruiter but lets not act like he's some god. He could've went anywhere and had the same reaction. Only reason for a thread is because it's Saban. If he went to Kentucky and had the same reaction, I bet there'd be no thread.
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.

Did I say I was panicking? Yes you're correct by saying the fact that he went and visited the school that has won 3 of the last 4 National Championships and really enjoyed his visit is the reason for a thread. I'm very high on Kief (no pun intended), and don't want to lose this kid.
LOL of course he enjoyed himself. What recruit wouldn't? Have you ever heard a recruit visit a place and say "it was horrible. I hated every second of my visit"
Academics matter to this kid. OSU offers him much more academically then Bama does. Im not worried. We do have a guy named Urban as our coach. Ive heard he can recruit
Agree, but didn't Hand say he didnt have a great visit @ OSU?
I would be more worried about NW and this kid. Reasonable distance for mom to see his games...another pass happy offense and he has a real good relationship with those coaches and their elite status for academics.. Is Bama a threat, sure, BUT I don't see him going there.
We also need a BIG receiver, contend for Championships as well and are a helluva lot closer than Bama, along with better academics. Kief is a SMART kid, he already said academics matter to him just as much if not more than football..
Yeah and Jabril Peppers also said academics matter to him but recently called LSU his "dream school." LOL
Visiting this weekend per Cincy HS Beat Reporter (Mike Dwyer).
I wouldn't be surprised if committed this weekend.
The OP will be able to breath.
