Milner just ran a 4.31.
Doubt he is there at 6.
Doesn't matter anyway....Mike Lombardi is now in charge of drafting players. It is a rarity for me to feel this way but I can't shake it: there is no hope for this team as long as the pathetic loser Lombardi is a part of this football team.
He probably will be there at 6 and even if he is the Browns should pass. Need an elite pass rushing talent (Barkevious Mingo or DaMontre Moore, etc). You don't build strong defenses around CB's. They already have a top notch corner. No need to waste the 6th pick on another when they simply just need some depth at that position.
This might not make you feel any better but Lombardi is just Joe Banner's yes man. Banner has final say. I do like having guys like Chud, Turner, & Horton as coaches. Hopefully they will have strong say in the types of players that are coming aboard. That atleast makes me feel a little better...
I love the coaching hires but I am a firm believer that coaches can only do so much. Give Bill Bellichick this Cleveland Browns and I doubt anyone is calling him a genius at the end of the season. You need talent in the NFL to succeed. There is no "money ball" or gimmick offenses that can work to hide your team's deficiencies. I wake up every day hoping I am wrong about Lombardi but I doubt I am. He's been a complete and utter failure everywhere he's been and his time as an "NFL Analyst" did nothing to ease any of my concerns. This team is headed in a downward spiral, which is amazing considering how piss poor we already are....
I am so down about the Lombardi hire I will not even watch this year's draft...

Browns were 0-5 with Haden out of the line up this season. An adequate corner opposite him is also a need for this team.

They will trade half their picks and joe Thomas to move up one slot. Just say'n
100%. Their inability to cover in those games cost a couple wins.
This was also my biggest issue with changing from the 4-3 to the 3-4. The Browns only absolutely needed another CB in the old D. By changing systems now we absolutely need several positions.
Great straight line speed from Milliner, but I don't see those twitchy hips from him. I have reservations about Bama corners too. They benefit from a great front seven and play a lot of zone coverages or man under. You've got to be able to turn and run in the league.
The browns will probably draft another qb at one and totally screw the team for a few more years.
The way I see it, the only guys the Browns should consider drafting is Jones, Jordan, Ansah, or Milliner.
