We offered maybe 7-8 guys that went to scUM. Most of them we offered early, and ended up getting better guys to replace them Bell, Elliott, Mitchell and Johnson>Thomas, Smith, Gedeon)
In fact, I was surprised to look at their list and realize that the only guys they have that we would take today in our class are Dawson and Bosch, and possibly Dymonte Thomas. We would also consider Fox and Poggi, but I'm not sure we would trade anyone we have for them. Some may say Green, but our staff clearly backed off on him after we got Zeke.
I expected with their high recruiting ranking that there would be more guys we want. I know theres at least 12 guys of ours that scUM would love to have, if not more. I think the gap in our recruiting classes is a lot bigger than I originally thought. Who would you take from scUM's class?
Green. That's it.
A helluva lot of their OL but that's really it. Green too.
every 3* and above OTackle
Dawson, Thomas, Poggi (maybe). That's about it. They can keep Green. He's really good but I'm real excited about EZE and what he can do.
I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
Same here, few OL recruits and Dymonte Thomas. Green but not at expense of Elliot.
I would take every one of their Olineman, Green, Poggi and Hurst. My list is not based on guys we would have to lose to get them but just guys i would be happier to see coming here than going to scUM.
There are lots of players I would TAKE...but there are very few if ANY I would trade for our players. They just don't have any difference makers to me. I wouldn't trade EE or Dontre for Green. Shane Morris...no thanks. I wouldn't trade Dymonte for Bell, Apple, Burrows (maybe for Conely). They have a bunch of good players but no great players IMO.

I would say Thomas, though not at the expense of Bell, Dawson and Kulger. Poggi showed well at the AA game but would not trade any of our DL guys for him. The problem with Dawson and Kulger is that I don't know who I would trade for them from our class and I know that sounds homerish but we addressed needs and neither of those guys are tackles. I just think they are going to be good players and I'd rather not they play for scUM but we can't have them all.
A lineman or two (any of them but LTT) and probably Thomas. Green is highly rated, but you don't swap him for EZE.
Obviously Shane Morris. He will be a 4x Heisman winner and lead Michigan University to 4 undefeated seasons. Just ask Shane himself how great he is. Hes also a humble kid.
I would go with a few of their OL (except LT-T as was mentioned above)...I think the only other one I would take would be Poggi as he is going to be very good
For me it would be only their best ot.
Dymonte Thomas in a heartbeat
Henry Poggi great DT are a premium

Killing SCUM just to watch it die!!!!....."De Oppresso Libre"
Hmmmm. As an RB, I would take him. Based on the class we got, the big back depth we have, and the staff telling him no a looooooong time ago, I would say not him.
Give me one of the OL - a tackle. I would have said two, but next year's OL class seems to be lining up very well.
Bosch or Dawson and that's it..
Fox provided his health is there. He's going to surprise people.
