I have just been wondering who would be our first realistic 2014 commit. It obviously wasn't Snodgrass as it appears we aren't ready to accept his commitment and it doesn't appear to be Raekwon as he won't commit for another year...so who do you got?
I'll go with Booker...
I would have said Snodgrass, but he doesnt have a commitable offer. Its hard to tell who has a real offer on the table right now. Right now I would have to say Dante Booker
I would agree with Booker but there are rumblings as to whether Booker or Berger are higher rated by the staff...obviously Raekwon and Garrett are "accept no matter what" type of players but would either of the Ohio guys be that? Part of me thinks one of the Glenville guys such as Jones or Lattimore could be first if the coach would actually allow it (which I am guessing they wouldn't)
Booker or Berger
I wish one of the big name guys would commit, though I do believe that Urban being the master planner that he is would have some hold off, to benefit the overall class.
Sucks, as fans who want results..but the fact is that historically Coach Urbs knows how to close out classes with a bang. Once 2013 wraps up things might get more exciting for us fans, as far as 2014 goes.
Good things come to those who wait..
The earlies I could see A Glenville kid commiting is summer. They usually take it til the end
Say Raekwon without a doubt.
unrealistic since he wants to wait until his all star game a year from now...it would be nice if he changed his mind and just committed now tho
I think we start out with three or four in state commitments right after signing day. I see Booker, Berger, Snodgrass/ Kief when he gets his offer and maybe a lineman starting it off for us for 2014. I think the Ohio kids feel a need to get in early and lock up their spots at their dream school.
They already have at least 3 verbal commits.. Urb wants to keep it under the radar till we finish this years class. Watch and see how many come forward after Jan. All Bucks!!!
Knowledge or wishful thinking? I would love to see a few kids start a string of commits like Burrows and Marshall
