Pearl Jam won out.
I'll be there
Well after many hours of work I have assembled an early edition of an unofficial Friday Night Lights Program Guide for anyone who is interested featuring all participants listed on page 1 of the FNL thread. It is complete with player headshots, stats, ratings, rankings, hometown, etc. I have uploaded the PDF file to GoogleDocs and is available for anyone to download and print off to take with them for those attending FNL. If you attended FNL last year many will remember how difficult it is to differentiate between players as they have no names on they're jerseys and there are over 100 kids running around out there. Also, remembering key information about so many different prospects can become difficult as well. This will be a huge help in solving that issue. For those who get nervous downloading online files for concern of viruses, I assure you that I am not that skilled or devious to do such a thing. If you still have your doubts then you can go to your local library and download and print it there. I will compile a final copy Thursday night with any additions or subtractions necessary as the information becomes available and post it on the FNL thread. Let me know if you find any discrepancies or have any suggestions. Enjoy!!! See you all there on Friday.
Edit: The one little trick that may be overlooked when downloading and printing the file is that the version that first appears on the screen is a condensed file and so the headshot photos are of not great quality. In order to view the full version with sharp photos one must click on the far left side of the screen under 'FNL.pdf' the link that says 'File'. This will open up a drop down menu, and then you need to select at the bottom of the menu 'Download'. Depending on your computer and operating system you will then be asked whether you want to 'Open' or 'Save' the file. Choose whichever you prefer but if you want to view the file initially then click 'Open'. Good luck. Let me know if you have any difficulties.
I will be there for sure with some family. My nephew is a freshman LB at Marion Harding and i am taking him. A very good friend of mine will be with us as well. He happens to be the uncle of D. Grant and is also related to Devin and Corey Smith. I am not sure if they will be there or not yet.
BIG Champs 2013 [Buckeyes]
Can someone please answer the question ? When does this thing start? Gates open ? Anybody?
Gates open at 5:30 and I believe the event starts between 6:30-7:00.
This is freaking awesome. Great job and thank you.
I went last year and it was very difficult to figure out who was who.
This will be very helpful.
Oh yeah, my son is also flying in from flordia to attend with me. We're big fans!!
If anyone wants to grab a beer beforehand at the VC let me know.
I'll probably be hanging out in the Short North afterwards and possibly cab it out to the casino at some point as well.
