Not sure how many read or heard Meyer's comments about using more of the wild cat with Miller split out, but he says they will use it more from here on out, we saw it first really against the Huskers.
Cannot wait to see kids like Jalin Marshall run that, he could be electric with his ability to run, and you better not lay off Miller, Marshall could throw to him and he is dynamite in the open field.
Elliott back there as well makes you smile.
Hyde did a good job with this last week, both he and Hall down the road will do well, and Hall can pass the ball, he hit Pryor with a TD, so Braxton getting a pass his way would not surprise.
Not sure I want Marshall throwing the ball in college after seeing how he is doing in high school right now. 4-18 passing with 165yds rushing last night. His future isn't behind center. Just get the ball to him in space anyway you can where he doesn't think about throwing it. Still can't wait to see this kid on the field in the years to come.
You are right he will not end up as QB in college, but this is a way to give him a few plays back there and keep the D honest.
He hasn't been seeing the field much, but another option on the current team could be Verlon Reed with his experience as a HS QB.
You're gonna see Jordan Hall at some point throw the ball to Brax or a TE out of the wildcat..
I wouldn't mind seeing Philly take some snaps/runs out of the wildcat.
I'm not a huge fan of the wildcat in our offense. We have the best wildcat qb in cfb already.
Imo most defensive coordinators would likely be happy to see someone other than Braxton behind center.

This. I never understand the wildcat with a running QB?
The only thing I can think of is that it keeps Braxton from running as much and less of a chance on injury. I also know that running backs like the wildcat because they can choose the whole instead of running to the one play calls for. I did like the yards that Hyde was getting with the wildcat, especially when it was obvious that Hyde was not looking to pass. But overall, I agree with you guys, the wildcat is for teams that have unathletic qb's, not teams that have Reggie Bush with an arm
We are coming for you Bama!
His team around him is not good so I wouldn't look to much into his passing stats
