I may get down voted, but i don't care. this may sound crazy, but i want Dontre Wilson just as bad if not more than Von Bell. Bell is an un questioned super talent, but imagine a talent like wilson. He reminds me of a De' Anthony Thomas. This kid can break one at any moment and we have not had a talent like that, maybe ever(Out side of Teddy Gin Jr). If this kid pans out him Marshall, Zeek Elliot, Brax, with Smith on the outside and Baugh at TE. Pair those weapons in Urban's Offense and we will eat Souls. I Hope we can land both, but i'd prefer Wilson. We Could have an offense which we have never seen before.
Vonn Bell >>>>>>>> any remaining recruit left. If you've seen our defense these last few years (esp. safety play), it should be common knowledge that an elite CB/S needs shored up the most. Bell would be an outstanding addition to Apple/Burrows.
But I do agree with you that Wilson is the offensive target I want the most.
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
People really get their hopes up on these kids. Listen... All these kids highlight movies look great...
But there is a huge difference between d Thomas.. Ted ginn.. Percy harvin... And dontre Wilson. They were out of this world... And their ranking showed it.
A 4 star barely cracking the top 150 on most sites... Isn't the same thing. Mathematically... Dontre Wilson will not perform at the same level as any of those people. He might be average.
Be excited for the kids... But don't give them unrealistic expectations. He isn't a "must get" either... We're in on a dontre Wilson every week.
We all want Dontre...jus sayin
come on man rankings don't always mean the most. we have had plenty of stars come through here who were not rated high and we have had plenty of 5 stars to be bust. There is no way to tell until he get's here but, his punt return in the all star game was fantastic
Not at the expense of loosing Elliot...
Agree...Elliot might already be gone.
Agreed. Elliot has the size/speed combination that point to a better chance for success in B1G play. Wilson is electric, but 165 isn't very big. If we got Elliot, Marshall & Wilson it starts to get difficult to get them all on the field. Especially if we want to keep big backs as part of our base offense. Too many slot/WB players doesn't help us.

Dexter Mccluster, Percy Harvin, Jeffery Demps, Felix Jones, and whole lot others were smaller guys and excelled in the SEC where the hitting down there is fierce. I see Wilson putting on a few pounds in Micky's program. I just have a feeling this kid is going to be an absolute stud
