Burning bridges with high school coaches is a very bad idea. When it comes to these kids coaches are like father figures. Before long Tubbyville won't be allowed at a lot of these schools.
BIG Champs 2013 [Buckeyes]
Being a prick is one thing, but a GUTLESS prick is a whole other level!
Sounds like Tuberville is bringing his SEC West tactics with him to Cincinnati. People say Cincy is the northern-most southern city . . .
Haha. I said the same thing in the last thread when he cold-shouldered Kempt. Did Cinci's AD purposely hire Tuberville to ruin the program so badly that they'll be allowed back into the MAC?
Wow, what a sad and disrespectful situation.....Cincy has a major problem with this guy and his lack of ethics....a leopard doesn't change his spots.....isn't this the same guy that left guys at dinner and never returned upon hearing about the Cincy job?
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I'm from the Cincinnati area and I have lived in Tennessee and currently Baton Rouge and I assure you it is not a southern city.
He's bringing everyone with him? Does he seriously think that all of his recruits will follow him and all of his coaches? Something is not right in that mind, if that is true. Have to see how this plays out, but this is really far out.
The closest that I will ever get to a Buckeye ring or Gold Pants. Saw it sold on e-bay April 29, 2011 for $8500.
When this town becomes "southern" I'll be the next CEO of Apple.
No way, no how, in your dreams.
The fellow that left recruits at a dinner to accept a job at UC is the same fellow who told all of his players at Ole Miss right after their bowl game that he was staying there and then hop on a plane to Auburn instead of returning with them to Ole Miss after the game. The guy definite has no ethics but maybe worse is such a coward he cannot tell anyone the truth. I almost feel sorry for UC. In a year or two he will pull the same trick to them leaving the UC Program in shambles and the AD that hired him unemployed.
He is going to have to recruit nationally if he wants players because ohio coaches are thick as thieves and will do anything they can to keep thier players from going to play for this guy.
