So I was trolling mgoblue and found this article talking about B Miller on the front of SI and this is one of the comments that follows..... "Gardner vs. Miller comparisons this year. Gardner is equal when it comes to running the ball and is a better passer"....I don't start many threads but had to on this one...really delusional up there.
ScUM fans are THE most delusional fans in ALL of college football.
I totally agree. The objective fans know, but other than wave a white flag what can you do? You have to keep the faith. It was hard when Cooper was here and we were getting our asses kicked every year. Now, and for the past 10 years, is our time.
I was trolling over there also and saw a Michigan fan state that Gardner is Vince Young like, LOL. Michigan fans seem to be the most delusional. PSU fans are the most arrogant IMO.

"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
It is astonishing. They have spent the last three years harping on how Denard is the greatest QB ever - deserved a Heisman, should be on the cover of EA Sports, best ever. Then they hit some bumps on their way to 5 losses, and suddenly they think Gardner (who's been on the roster for three years and was moved to WR when they didn't even have a viable backup QB) is another Terrelle Pryor, only taller and stronger and throws like Marino, and is quicker and has better moves than Pryor. Outside of that, he has no other weaknesses.
I can't imagine what they're going to be like halfway through the season when they realize he's an ok QB, they have Borges calling their offense, they have no WRs who can put pressure on the defense, and their only viable running back is a true Frosh. It's going to be fun to watch.
I think those are in reverse order, but they are 1A and 1B in both categories.
Hoke and Meyer are equivalent too in their minds
They are also some of the most ignorant fans regarding the game of football. The mentality up their is that the are "leaders and best." They breed arrogance right from freshman orientation on; the walmart wolverines just add to the hubris.
I'll give them that Gardner is a better QB than anyone knew till the end of last year. Having said that, who is their backup this year? Think Gardner will last a whole year without injury? Doubt it. The guy they tried after arm-punt Robinson got hurt is their Bauserman. Morris is going to take awhile to get used to the speed of the college game and probably should red-shirt. Also, RB (Green) may not be academically eligible.
