Did LeBron Do It Again Last Night?

  • LeBron had 28 points overall including 10 in the 4th quarter last night against Indiana. But he missed two key free throws late and also wasn't involved in the last shot to potentially tie the game. Did LeBron come up short again under the end of the game pressure?

  • LeBron is going to wish he was back in Cleveland and still the King is they lose in this round, the Miami fans are going to be calling for somebody’s head.

I understand why he left, and I am not mad at him at all. The owner needed to get him some help and not older has beens that they were getting him.

But if he cough cough (chokes) like he did last night, they will be vary upset with him.

Personally I thought he had a good game, besides the last few minutes.

Instead of trying to place the blame, it's becoming clear that Lebron is lacking the ability to go out and get wins when it matters. No, not his fault they lost, but he's definitely not taking it upon himself to get the win. I think that's what most people are focused on. We know he's the best player in the league, so act and play like it when it matters.

Many are talking about this today and there are certainly people on both sides of the coin as far as last night goes.

I knew that when the game ended last night, that every body was going to blame him. In hine sight an not just blaming him cause "i dont like him" he is the only reason they was even in the game, did not come out in the second half, gaurded 1-5 all night an only d wade had over 5 points....people just put there feelings into there judgements an not what actually happened an yea he did miss those free throws but if he would have made them who's to say they would have won?

There are two KNOWN facts with Lebron. Fact he is a great player and there is no denying the fact that he disappears at the end of games. Kobe would have DEMANDED the ball in that situation.

It's not people letting their feelings get in the way. That's the excuse his defenders use. The fact is that the best player, the king, has shrunk a very large number of times now when faced with the big moment. He can't close. He can't.

  • Yeah I'd say so. Not taking the last shot didn't really bother me but him missing TWO free throws that would of either tied it or given the Heat the lead (I can't remember) is inexcusable imo.

No one's saying they would have won if he had made them. But, my guess is they would have had a much better chance of winning had he made them. What actually happened was the Heat lost the game. When a team loses, the leader of the team is going to get the blame, as he should.

The day Lebron steps up and says "That loss is on me" will be the first time those words have ever come out of his mouth. The greats have said it multiple times in their career, Lebron refuses to take responsibility because he's entitled and afraid. If that's the type of player he wants to be, then fine, but don't go with the dog and pony show of calling yourself the "Choosen One" and "King James" if you don't want to be judged as such. He's brought all of the criticism upon himself because he's said time and time again he wants to be the best to ever play the game. Well, if that's your goal, that's how you are going to evaluated.

  • Lebron plays the game as a team game. He feels that an open player taking a shot is a better play than him taking a bad contested shot...which percentage wise is probably correct. Lebrons game is one where he makes other around him better, he is not a selfish player. To ask him to take every important shot at the end of the game is asking him to change the way he plays.
He scored 10 points in the 4th quarter, other than Wade no one had more than 5 total points. This was one game in the series, let's wait and see how the rest of the series plays out.
