After reading MSU boards, reading their fan posts, and overall reaction..it appears to me that when we rolled into the Breslin Center this past weekend "we were thought ripe for the pickin" by the Spartans and their fans......boistered and blown up by pompus Big 10 Networkreports, hearled as the Big 10 champs, having the POY before it was even voted on, and wiht a pocket full of paperclipping from the 10 point butt kicking they had adminsitered to the Buckeyes a couple of weeks earlier, we were thought DOA and ready to drop the soap in the shower for their beloved Spartans!
Our first half play probably brought more dancing in the streets, as when it got to 24-9 most Buckeye fans had thoughts of turning to watch SEC womens basketball, and a replay movie of "The Glenn Miller Story".
I think the Izzo lovers were shocked when way late in the 2nd half we tied and went ahead in the game....When Green dropped the F bomb on the referees..more confusion occured as the Scarlet and Gray proved to be a more worthy opponent than at first thought., after the first game fiasco in Columbus. With Matta having won 4 of the precious games(7) in their beloved Breslin Center, one has to wonder what those white shirted idiots in the "IZZO ZONE" were thinking.
Today when the polls put the Buckeyes ahead of the Spartans, some one must have taken the bait. With 2 losses in a row to end their season, MSU has not helped themselves in the National Perspective! The Big 10 tournment should go a long way in straightening this whole thing out!

Doubt that. MSU jumped out early wanting the clinch the Big Ten title alone, win on senior day and feed off the crowd and the adrelin.
Ohio State made a nice little run to end the half and close the gap.
It was all OSU in large part in the second half as we out scored them by double digits, we took their best blow and delivered a knock out back.
Once Buford got rolling, we rocked.
When Thomas got going real late, it was over.
Ravenel added inside toughness, and Craft hit some late clutch shots, as did Sully.
The better team won yesterday, that is all.
Don't think for a second they overlooked us. They came out of the gates ready to roll with a ton of energy and physical play, and that energy and physical play never stopped. Those were just two teams playing at their peak, two heavyweights going blow for blow.
I don't think either team played bad, it's just that their run came right out of the gates and ours came later.
Ask Izzo if he thinks they overlooked OSU, he'll give you a shocked look and say something to the affect of "Not a chance in Hell we're overlooking that team."
Not to mention they were a couple of days after getting their asses handed to them by Indiana and Izzo coached teams are pretty dangerous coming off a loss. MSU was ready to play yesterday, we were just the better team for the last 30 minutes.
