Where is Izzo's stats?? WOuld he be considered "below expectations" because he only won one title vs. 6 final four appearances?

I agree with one of the other posters.......there is much more to deciding whether a team is "meeting"expectations when it comes to the NCAA tourney.

As we find out every year teams can get beat on any given night........the year we lost to Sienna (and they were NOT a bad team) we shot the freaking lights out the game before and Sienna played phenominal.

I think Matta is a very good coach....great recruiter. He has a few more years to go before we see if he can be considered up with the "greats" of the game......

If you look at the stats it is clearly tremendously hard to win the championship consistently in this day and age......

Players still have to play the game and execute.......
