Douglass Powers Trotwood Pipeline

Congratulations to Trotwood for winning the title. I have to say I do not see the odds being against them all season. They have acquired talent from all over the Dayton area at that school and have become a power. Kids are leaving their schools to play for Douglas. Very few schools have that advantage.

Private schools in the Cincy and Cle area have that advantage.

It is the same in Columbus. My nephew was asked by a prominent Catholic school to switch to their school when he was in 8th grade. The problem I have is some of these schools literally recruit kids from other schools. I agree with you. I have a problem with it personally, but I am not going to start a fire storm on here. I have always felt this way and have had debates on here several years ago. I think it is unfair for a school in one league to recruit kids from another league or even the same league to come to their school and win a state championship. Why play in a league with a school like that. Let them go independent and find teams to play and let them have their own championship. I guess that is what you would be saying as well.

I am with you in that.
