  • I hope all the a-holes that were posting negative crap about Dunn visiting scUM show some remorse after reading this. I dont understand if you are an OH kid and have a chance to play for the Buckeyes which you are a fan then switch to the dark side, but I do understand why you would be worried about what is happening here and not want to miss out on some big time bowl games. I would hope if he were to go somewhere else then NOT up north. In the end I dont think we get anything too harsh from the NCAA and we will watching Dunn leave off where the likes of George, Beanie, Rod Smith have led us down the field.

  • well at least he came out and made everything clear now. We already know further penalties could hurt potential committs. sounds like he wasnt super impressed the scUM. If we did lose him i just hope he picks anywhere but that state up north.

  • If his major concern about keeping his committment to the Buckeyes is based on his desire to play in bowl games, why look at UM? There is no reason to believe they will begin to attend even smaller bowls on a regular bases and right now BCS bowls look way out of reach. Plus I can't see a bowl ban of more the two years, so if that was the case by his sophomore or red-shirt freshmen season, the team would be able to attend bowls again.

  • A bowl ban for three years? What kind of negative recruiting are they using on him? That's beyond even the most fairytale punishment that I've heard suggested for Tressel in this case!

    Dunn is a Buckeye and that's too bad for Michigan.

    GREAT because I just get the feeling that he is going to be a fantastic back...perhaps the better of the two 2012s! He seems a bit more dedicated to the weight room and conditioning as well.

  • Good to hear! I'm not crazy about anybody visiting Michigan but this kid has a right to look at all of his options. As I said before sometimes you look around and discover your original instinct was not only correct but reinforced. Maybe he wasn't that impressed and that helped confirm his original decision.

    I agree. If the media would quit playing this crap up like it is the end of the world, people wouldn't be running with it like it is.

    My 30's will be a waste if I end up watching an OSU team that has a 3 year ban on bowls. I think that would be accompanied with devestating scholly losses as well.

    I don't see it happening though.

    Nobody has to negatively recruit to hear this info. Rivals has run stuff like, is OSU going to get hit harder than USC.

    while you might think Dunn is the real deal, how in the hell can you say he is more dedicated in the weight room? Did you not see the thread of the WB running track??? Holy Moley Batman you are barking up the wrong tree with that statement. Seriously go do a search of past threads on Warren Ball and tell me that he is a slouch taking care of himself.

    Let's just hope we get both... I would rather see them both in scarlet and grey than in other colors!

    Not wanting to be negative or a doubter but lets have Rod do more than produce hype on the practice field before we include his exploits with the likes of Eddie and Beanie. I hope he lives up to it but let it happen before you start the Heisman campaign.
