  • Absolutely the worst part of the 247 version of bucknuts. Like a high school popularity contest. Could actually make the case that it takes away from intelligent conversation. Not that much of that has been reality since the conversion anyway, and especially here recently with the free trial. I'd like to see the upvote/ downvote thing done away with. I could name about a dozen non-mod posters who ever contribute anything substantial, without attacking other posters and acting like children. Very quickly losing interest in being a VIP member here. But who the hell am I right?

I could then spend the next week just looking up every post and down vote everything just to mess with you and see if your overall star count drops. I don't even need a reason. People do that here.

    Star system is worthless. I still say exactly what I want to say and so can you. I could have zero stars or 5 stars and the words show up just the same. A star rating down not change the value of what i have to say.

    I agree with you. I usually will give an upvote if I really agree with that person's point of view so that I am not reiterating what someone else says. I tend to go through the board quickly and this is a way of participating when I don't have a lot of time.
