Yep, Pryor faced some of the weakest teams OSU played during that run, and Michigan was pathetic.
Krenzel was 26-3 as a starter with a BCS title ring, and two BCS bowl MVP's, just win baby.
No way Pryor over Smith or Krenzel.
Lots of people leaving Tim Anderson out as a DT, kid was a monster eating up blocks for others.

Pryor was 2-0 in BCS bowl games. Regardless of character, if you needed ONE guy to win you a ballgame, I would take my chances with him over Krenzel and Smith, as much as I liked the other two guys more.

The Troy Smith/Terrelle Pryor argument is a good one. Given a senior year w/o scandal, I agree with Duane that most would choose Pryor. Pryor had shown more in his Sophomore/Junior years than what we saw from any other OSU QB.
His athleticism is something we won't see anytime soon (Braxton Miller is athletic, but Pyror was a freak).
Food for thought......if you could replay the OSU/UF championship game from 2007, how do you think Pryor would have done against the UF defensive ends? They wouldn't have caught up to Pryor like they did to Troy Smith. That was such a great trump card.

beanie wells is the best RB by far. He had no line, no qb any of his starting years. He was the entire offense and still managed to look incredible. He had some durabilty issues but not as bad as clarett in my opinion. And please as mentioned above no hypotheticals on claretts future years or pryor.
Not considering tatoogate, I can't believe there is a debate between troy and TP. The only real debate is between krenzel and TP. Tp had arm worse than krenzel. (both had accuracy issues but krenzel could hit the deep ball something pryor could only force into a pick.) Krenzel much more clutch and wiiling to take a hit. Most important of all leadership. Pryor only cared for number one and that never changed unlike krenzel who was pure team. Could pryor have hit the deep throw of purdue or illinois? Could he lead the national championship team down the stretch? Would we win against miami with TP? answers are no no and no.
