I love how everyone on here is freaking out because one person thinks Mitchell is headed to A&M while completely forgetting about Quick. IMO if we miss on Mitchell theres one or two other guys (Trey Johnson comes to mind) that are his caliber that we have a good shot at. As far as Quick goes he is head and shoulders above the rest of the guys on our board *IMO) at a position we are lacking in just as much as LB. If i could take one of the two it's Quick in a heartbeat. However at the end of the day I think we get both.

Would certainly make sense if he did (but I have no knowledge one way or the other)- follow up visit after Fick and Vrable last week-visit one of the top 3 guys on your board that you chat with a couple of times a week before the dead period.Meet with mom and dad Mitchell. Discuss with them how going away to tOSU overwhelmingly trumps staying close at Texas A&M or Oklahoma, especially with playing time opportunities and killer coaches. Remind Mike/parents of all the guys at tOSU that are from the South, and are quite happy there. Assure them that Mike will be in great hands, stress the family that he will be joining at tOSU. Seal the deal.
Meyer's itinerary (heck, should include the assistant coaches also) probably has him ping ponging all over the country the next few days.
