In my opinion, the Buckeyes should offer Barker ASAP. First, he seems to really want to be a Buckeye. That is the most important point as far as I am concerned. His rating is 93 and he is considered the No. 3 Dual Threat QB. Why would we even hesitate about offering him? If Watson changes his mind and wants to be a Buckeye, take them both, but don't lose a great young guy like Barker waiting for a Clemson commit to flip.

+1. i have said this exact thing many times. i have total faith in our staff, who are recruiting at the highest level imaginable, but this continues to be a head-scratcher for me.

Good stuff Dave ! How good of an athlete is Barker ? The more athletic the QB is in Urban's offense the better it is. Just wondering if he's athletic enough to thrive in this offense...

i still say we should take some more shots at jerrod heard. mack brown wont be at texas another two years and currently has no OC to replace harsin who just bolted. Heard is the real deal, maybe hes one of those kids thats going to texas no matter what i dont know
