I'd go buy some chapstick and pucker up. Adding FSU would be huge for the conference. They also have a decent basketball program. Opening up markets in Florida will help with recruiting even more as more and more kids get to see Ohio State choke slam and tea bag their precious seminoles.

We would also get to see these little candy asses travel north for november games in Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, hell anywhere. For us November isn't that bad. For them its like the arctic freeze.

Dude I completely agree. I think T-shirt whether is high 30's low 40's with no wind chill and sunshine. High 40's low 50's with wind chill. Any thing else is sleeveless and in shorts.

NO TV markets, no way

Meh, people look at a map and want to add a SC school but Clemson is really not that attractive. No academic prestige (not AAU, probably never will be), no big TV markets, and a small student body (IE alumni base).

Clemson is scarcely larger than Northwestern in terms of student population (both around the 15K mark) with none of the academic profile and not located in a market like Chicago.

There is one school that I will forgive for such a profile and that is UVA. Their academic reputation is the key difference between the two.

Even more important is its place as one of the two most prominent schools in VA which has about 8.5 million people (#12 overall and #6 in B1G country). SC? 4.7 million ranking them only ahead of Iowa and Nebraska in terms of total population --- IE Television sets and network subscriptions.
