Everyone needs to keep in mind the this post--IF and WHEN the Buckeyes can navigate themselves into the Sweet 16 and into the Elite Eight does it really matter that Fab Melo is ineligible.

As to Melo's ppg and rebounds per game (which aren't terribly imposing), this blurb from the NYT:

"his most important role came as an anchor at the bottom of Syracuse’s vaunted 2-3 zone. He averaged 2.93 blocks a game, 12th best in the country and impressive considering he averaged only 25.4 minutes a game."

And what a difference that would make IF Sullinger, Thomas & Co. can keep playing like we've seen in the last 10 days or so. Golden opportunity here!

I think Willy B is going to give us what we have all wanted for sometime... him to show up and play like we know he can in $$$ time. I am pumped about the Tourney.

Yup....Never know which team will show up.... ;)

Watch out for Waiters- He's still the type of player that can carry a team.
