Big Guy, I so hope you are right, we've been waiting for so long and we've been disappointed BUT this is a new chance for him to do it!

You know everyone is really excited about the tournament and it certainly sparks a lot of discussion and observation about why one team is favored or not versus another team and on and on and on. The discussion is endless and thoughtful, but it goes without saying that none of that matters from here on out. All that matters is that "we" play every play better than "them". Every play, every game. The Miracle on Ice hockey team was embarrassed by the Soviets in a scrimmage shortly before the actual contest that counted. The endless analysis here is good for conversation but I sure hope the team is just focused on the first game. Nothing else matters, especially not the names on the jerseys and their history or their seed or who they lost to or beat last December. Thinking beyond game "next" is how so many upsets happen in this tourney. I say lets beat the 15 seed and then think about the next opponent. Game one, first play, I'm ready. Let's win and move on and do the analysis after the fact.

FSU is playing scary good right now....not that I don't think we can win against them, but it will take a SOLID effort from our guys...we need the team that showed-up against scUM...all playing as one. FSU's MO is their defense...I think they lead the nation in holding-down opponents FG percentage and points. We have to pass the ball and get the good shots. Can't have Sully sitting a significant portion of a period.
