Im sorry but the whole Lichter thing is more proof that Tressel ran a Good Ole Boys network rather than a football program. We all have our opinions about the former staff. Most of you worship Tress and what he did while at tOSU. He was good for the program but prior to being shown the door, he had reached "his" pinnacle. I'll say this much... Im glad Meyer and Co. are here and the old staff is out. Tress had taken the program as far as it was going (under him). IMO, tOSU was never going to be able to get over the SEC hump with Tress, Bolls, Sic, and Lichter at the helm. These guys simply got fat and comfy dominating the B1G. How easy was it for Bollman and Sic to collect 100's of Thousands of dollars every year and produce what they did on the field?? Unbelievable! I know Im stepping on many toes due to the loyalty most show the former staff but that type of cronyism would never fly down here in SEC land.
