Lots of differing opinions on his overall value but he's an in state kid with some serious speed you simply can't coach so I say sign him along with Quick and/or Foster and then our roster will begin to feature some play makers for the future.

Gibson has blazing speed and talent, that is why we have Zach Smith to coach him up as a WR, and he did a heck of a job at Florida.

You cannot coach his speed, and Meyer wants it.

Gibson seems like a straight line speed guy like Smith, but without the size, strength, hands, brains or ultimate speed. No way Gibson fills the Harvin role unless we can hit him in stride.

If he goes to camp next weekend and the Buckeyes are willing to accept his committment, then I will consider myself proven wrong.

Hope I am wrong but I too join those fans that are skeptic about Gibson. Even though Meyer is talking to him (according to him) regularly I don't think that offer has become commitable just yet. I think Meyer would rather have decisions in on Foster, Quick and Treadwell prior to giving Gibson the green light.
