That was the rumor, at least Webb is off the board early. I bet PSU gets Webb's HS teammate as well, DE Drennon, that had alot to do with Webb to PSU, is Drennon probably ends up there.
Everyone talking about UofM, I would take Penn State's defensive class to date hands down over Michigan's, not close and I am including Drennon.
Good thing is OSU is in on DT Mike Hill from South Carolina, DT Donavon Munger (has Penn State offer, and I read today the Washington Huskies just offered Munger) and newly offered DT Hurst, who is visiting spring game weekend.
Munger is Webb's equalivent in my opinion, and Hill much better, he is a bulldozer.
We have Price in the bag as it is.
I would take the Tommy Schutt swap for Webb out of those two as well.

Wish he would of took time to visit OSU. Nonetheless good get for PSU. Little surprise they've put a good class together so far.

Woodard helped, but OSU got in the Webb's sweepstakes a lot later than other schools with that offer in late February. Nice try.
OSU is in great shape with DT Hill, Hurst sounds thrilled with his OSU offer and I find it hard to believe Munger does not end up a Buckeye if Meyer gives him the green light.
In the last few weeks Munger has gotten offers from Auburn, Georgia, Washington, Notre Dame, Tennessee and WVU, along with Penn State and various others, he is a stud DT.
Again, I will take stealing Schutt and Noah Spence late in the 2012 class from losing Webb, considering all the elite DL Meyer and OSU are in on for 2013, and Price is in the house.

Hopefully more stuff hits the fan and we can still him away like we did the guys last year.

Until then, Webb better watch out where he drops the soap in their locker rooms.

I'm really disappointed that Webb didn't visit - but PSU is close to home, and there is definitely earlier playing time there, unless he would have come in & beasted up.

If you wish ill will on the that program and these kids who had nothing to do with that foolishness then you should be thrown in the tank with that creep. Stick to football! You don't need to hope a school loses recruits due to that trash. Just get your guys and go to war with the ones you have and hope you can win too. Its always a lot of sour grapes when a recruit doesn't pick tOSU. Some of yall sound.... whew I almost said it, smh...

Surprise the incidents/case(s) haven't seemed to have an impact on their recruiting does not equate to wishing kids ill. And, IMHO, there is nothing wrong with wishing ill on rival programs...especially those that compete with your program for a lot of the same recruits.

That said, I agree that it is human nature to downgrade (sour grapes) any kid who chooses a different school...and OSU fans are just as guilty of that as any other fanbase.

I wish Webb would have visited OSU, but that's the way it goes. Time to move on to the remaining (at least as) great recruits at his position.

Give me Bosa, who can slide to the 3 technique, and a stud WSDE type like Bower and call me happy with a 3 man DL class. That coupled with the last two we have had means that we have a stacked 2 deep for the next 4 years at least. Lots of rotation and keeping guys fresh without dropping off the quality.
