I do not understand how we could be his third choice. We beat his #2 choice and we finished the year as the only undefeated team in CFB. For most of this kids life we have been beating the shit out of ichigan. I just dont get it.

Two words: Jalen Hurd

Hood is a good player. But I'd rather have Jalen Hurd over this kid.

Hood's film is unreal. He's big, fast and physical. If we don't land Hurd, I wouldn't be disappointed if we landed Hood.

Not really that mind boggling... People like different schools for different reasons. If all that mattered to these kids were wins and loses... Bama would have a 100 kids class every year.

What about depth chart?

Ohio State and Michigan have both taken exceptional running backs the last two years. ND, not so much. I

He comes from a Catholic high school.............

We'll get Hurd.

Quick....name 3 NFL starting running backs that came out of a college level spread offense with a "dual threat" QB who ran the ball a lot.

ND and UM are both excellent schools with long football traditions. UM still holds edge over OSU in football - all time record.
ND does have a special aura about it. - especially in Catholic community. And there campus is beautiful. And ND was in the championship just a few weeks ago. I may always root against them but going to ND is a GREAT option for a football player - one that any of us would love for our children to have - as would an opportunity to play for UFM. What wonderful choices that young man has!

You can root for our bucks and still see that to high school students our rivals are also a very attractive option. I may root like hell against them but they provide a young athlete a great opportunity and in some instances even a better fit - depending on their chosen field of study.
