How is this a whole different level? Tress had many top 10 - top 5 classes. I love Urban, but let's not revise history so easily. A whole different level? How? We're going to wind up between 4 and 10. Been there many times.

IMO it's a different level because Urban is doing this in 2 months of recruiting without the opportunity to build relationships with these kids. Some of them will commit without ever seeing a game in the Shoe. If he brings in what should be a top 5 class, if we get the expected commits, how can you compete with that?

Yeah I see your point - but I would add that it was all timing. For example Urb had to hit high gear immediately because of the timing of his hiring. Also, without the PSU scandal, Schutt and Spence are PSU recruits, and if Tress had not left, we still would have had Pittman, Washington, etc. maybe Dotson and another lineman also.
A lot of activity in a short amount of time, but there were certainly planets aligned for him, that's for sure! Go Bucks!
