I've had 2 years of NFL ticket free, $500 in lump sum credits, free showtime and starz for a year, and numerous $10 credits for DVR and HD since September. I call every few months threatening to cancel....

I just tried to reduce my package seeing that the premier is way over the top and i barely watch all the crappy movie channels besides HBO( couldn't live without that). I got transfered to the "technician aka rewards dept" and they gave me $40 bucks off a month for 6 months. I plan on doing the same again once its over. Buckeye cable is just as expensive anyways id never change back to cable.

Being that I just signed up for direct tv last year and have a two year contract I wonder if I would be successfully in trying this or they would simply tell me you have a contract in place.

20 Bucks off every month for a year
8 Bucks off for DVR service
10 Bucks off for the Next 3 Months
And All premium channels for 2 months
366 off total and the Premium channels
