The MSU offense is just too predictable, run Bell over and over.
Maxwell is no Cousins, and all those senior WR's they lost has come back to haunt them with young WR's not getting it done.
The MSU defense gave up almost a 90 yard drive and TD late to Iowa to tie it, they did not get it done again.

I don't know if they were over rated based on projections. They have athletes at WR, and a big armed QB who isn't a head case like Morris. I think what they are lacking is leadership. And maybe Don Treadwell. Either way, I am shocked at Sparty.

Can we stop with the Mark Dantonio is a good HC. It's just not true. Different coach, same old Sparty.

I wondered where all the threads sucking off Dantonio went. Good base builder but cannot get the program to a next level. You get it at Cincinnati and he's doing it at Michigan State. He leaves the program better than he found it but is a short time solution.

Hopefully we have done away with the Dantonio is a great HC notion. MSU continues to underachieve in a weak conference.
The other coach who gets more press than he deserves is Fitzgerald. We all understand NW has limitations, but this team use to compete for Rose Bowl trips when the conference was one of the best in the country. They are the model of mediocrity this year.
