    That is great news Steve; you are one of the best. Hopefully someday you get enetered into some sort of HOF for what you do, becqause in this day in age it means just as much as a Frick Award in baseball that Hal McCoy won a few years ago,.

    Regarding Hal McCoy, I had a chance to work with him for 6 years as editor of Reds Report. I appreciate you mentioning me in the same breath as Hal. I have about 20 more years of work before I can even think about approaching his body of work. He is a great one, indeed. But I will work toward that.

    The last 23-24 years have been great fun, I know that!!!

    I absolutely love Hal McCoy and in the internet age guys like you and Bids are complete class and actually report it the way it should be. You guys even had a SCUM commit listed as your #1 in the state of ohioand if you were not a class act you would have changed it arund for your audience, just like Hal would call it.

    Thanks for the kind words. Bottom line is Steve is one of the best in the biz and we're thrilled he's going to still have an active role at Bucknuts, while moving up in the world and doing Big Ten/national content for 247 as well.

    In case anyone is wondering how involved Steve will be at Bucknuts, just go to any OSU football game this season home or road, or any OSU men's basketball game home (and mostly road). You'll see him there. Or just read this site. Steve's content and fingerprints will still be all over it. He's just being recognized for his excellent work and is getting a national voice with 247 in addition to his responsibilities here at Bucknuts.

    We weren't going to make a big announcement or anything quite yet, but congrats are definitely in order. Congratulations Steve!
