He has unbelievable talent and has consistently underachieved for 15 years or however long he has been there. He does have the one BCS NC but most years he does not live up to expectations

If you think Urban Meyer is going to do a series of interviews with such luminaries as the dean of the transgender studies dept, the HC of the Barrel Jumping team, and a very public interview with Gee - you would be mistaken.

If Urban was some guy who had no connection to OSU whatsoever, and if OSU wasn't a top 5 job in this buisiness, this repeated rhetoric might have merit.

You keep repeating this as if its some sort of dealbreaker that would prevent any coach from ever wanting to coach at OSU.

If he wants this job you're godamned right he'll let them go through whatever process they feel neccessary. If they want him to have this job, the you're godamned right they will do thier best to exbidite or eliminate parts of the process in thier pursuit of him.

If either or both are lukewarm to the idea....then it was never going to happen in the first freakin place.

This scandal makes every cheating scandal in the history of college football look like joke. This isn't free tatoos. It's not even a couple hundred grand for CAM Newton. SMU, as bad as that was back in the day, is not in the same ball park or even zip code with what went down in Happy Valley. PSU covered up the rape and molestation of children on campus by a coach. Forget NCAA sanctions. PSU just had its AD and VP of finance indicted, and the prosecutor would not rule out going after the school President. Civil suits are soon to follow. Just about everyone responsible for hiring a coach at PSU is busy hiring a lawyer instead.
