"Playing here is the closest thing to heaven on earth..." - Brian Rolle
Mavety is a LOT target plain and simple. He is targeted to hopefully commit to OSU and grab that next year.
OSU has him target as LOT, take it fwiw, I had a friend inside the WHAC when Mavety was there, he was told he is LOT for Meyer and OSU.
Mavety is 6'6" and 320 and runs a 4.8 40, Meyer wants an athletic experienced LOT to step in next year, which is another run at a national title if the OL comes together.
Mavety's JUCO program has kids going to other D1 programs, so he is facing better competition in practice and in games than most HS kids, and he is two years older weight a JUCO weight program behind him.
Considering he would enroll in December and be at OSU for winter conditioning, spring practices and know the system well before fall camp, that is a huge advantage.

Getting to 82 players by August is all that matters, no matter how many OSU signs on NLOI day.
