Me too. With Loving and Bates-Diop on board and each excessively long, I really like the way he fits in. Matta is amazing.

Matta is on a roll, this kid has a great mid range game, kind of a Buford type size wise.
Matta, like he said, "we know what we are doing!"
Diop, now Tate, and we are in on a ton of big time big men and SG/PG's for 2014 as well.
How lucky it OSU to have Urban Meyer and Thad Matta, you got to be kidding?

Matta now has an athletic scoring small forward in Tate, and a lengthy 3/4 man in Diop, who is lights out.
Michigan thought they had a great chance at Tate due to the Pickerington connections, sorry Beilein.
We could easily go 5 kids in 2014 if we add maybe one more like Hawkins for 2013.
One PG, a SG, or a PG and two bigs like Whitney teammates White and Okafor.
Matta on fire.
You can see with LaQuinton Ross, he has a lot of upside, but not NBA draft like predicted this year.
OSU hoops, just in great shape for the future.

This kid is hard nosed and physical. Not a pure outside scorer yet but just a physical force of nature despite his size. He has a good skillset that's only going to get better.

Alot of people on this site had written off Thad so good to see us off to a good start for 2014. I grew up with his Dad Jermaine and played a ton of ball against him......kinda of surprised he is only 6' 5" when Jermaine is 6'9"......I heard from my good friend who is on The St. Johns staff (Lovings school) that this boy can hoop so really excited to see him in a few years.

A Michigan site today had a big article on Tate, and his upcoming visits and how UofM sits with him. They felt they were in great shape.
