Louisville gets a lot of Thursday and Friday night games as well, not real prime time.
If Louisville goes to the Big 12, I think teams like Texas, Oklahoma, Ok State and a few others just beat them like a drum, they are just better across the board and draw better talent. If Louisville ends up in the Big Least, what a chump conference that is becoming. No way Louisville wants to fall to the SEC, they would be cannon fodder in that conference.

Louisville already is in the Big East, and has been for a very long time.
I think the SEC actually makes a ton of sense for both Louisville and for the SEC.
Quick lives 5 minutes from the campus, a lot of his best friends and teammates go to Louisville or are going to go there and not to mention both of his parents graduated from there.
Louisville being his leader has nothing to do with football and everything to do with things outside of football. Sometimes those things can be very hard to overcome for other programs. I am definitely not expecting him to pick Ohio State, but if he does that's great.

Shhhh. Don't bring that up to this 83, full blown homer character. My guess is if Quick does pick Louisville that 83 will change his tune on Quick very Quickly. Quick will go from being an SEC speed WR to being a scrub within moments in 83's eyes.

Nope, not falling into your junior high games, yee of 18 post. Quick is elite, darn elite wherever he ends up. Maybe in the end, he just wants to get a little further away from home as well, sometimes that happens as well.
And to the person that noted that with Quick's parents, they did say they wanted him to be in a big time setting, venue and arena. Louisville is improving under Strong, but that and the Big East is not big time. OSU in the Big Ten, with upcoming OOC games with California, Va Tech and North Carolina, plus at Navy and Cincy, and the Big Ten title game, plus the Horseshoe compared to Papa John's, that is big time. How many WR's has Louisville put in the league the last decade vs. OSU?

Home schools always scare me, for some kids they are just prefer being close to home, they don't care about then number of NFL players or prime time games or what conference they will play in. Most elite kids will go the route of the football powers but for some they would rather be an hour or in Quick's case a few minutes from home. I also read that he really likes the idea of playing with Teddy Bridgewater. I really like this kid and hope the draw of The Shoe and the shot at playing for National Championships wins out but who knows.

I think you may actually have scarlet and grey glasses on with that comment - Bridgewater doubled Braxton's passing yards. I like Braxton better overall because he is a tremendous runner but Bridgewater has a great future as well and has actually proven to be the better passer thus far. You have to remember people outside of Ohio (who didn't watch the Spring game or no about Sicliano) only remember a kid throwing ducks all over the field last year when he was actually allowed to pass and holding the ball forever with horrible footwork (I realize you can thank the prior staff for that). I love Brax and think he blows up this year but any young receiver watching OSU last year isn't gonna be chomping at the bit to play with Miller yet.
