Guy shows up at the Adidas camp in a ND hat...smh...what a waste.
"Jaylon Smith, who showed up wearing a Notre Dame hat, tells me he will not be visiting Ohio State or ND on the 21st. Will be playing in a 7on7 that weekend as I mentioned in the past." -per Steve Wiltfong

Kid's been a ND lock for a while now...I'm not worried. We'll have Love and likely Anzalone in this class if he decides to come to the Spring game. If he doesn't, then we'll still get Kimbrough.

No, they're not as close as everyone makes them out to be. As I've said before, Jaylon went to a different high school than Rod because he didn't want to share the spotlight.

He would be a great addition to any class. I think he is a must get for any program that is trying to land him, but if he were to choose to go to ND more power to him. OSU has players that are able to be game changers on the LB roster right now. We got URB now guys nobody is off limits until they sign and if OSU doesnt land him there will be another kid in next years class with just as much hype and talent.

If Smith chooses ND, good luck. With the way Stanford is recruiting, their future schedules with Oklahoma, Texas, Miami and the usuals like UofM, MSU and USC, they will not sniff a BCS bowl during is four years.
Smith goes there, OSU will not face him.
If OSU gets Anzalone, Love and maybe lures Hollins to visit and commit, so much for Smith.
Notre Dame will continue to lose with Kelly and his small time staff, this is not Central Michigan and Cincy where you can out score teams, he is in over his head and on borrowed time.

Whoa, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning...and I'm nobody. But my uncle lives in the Fort Wayne area and knows Jaylon and his family. He said that the kid wears Notre Dame stuff all the time and all he ever talks about is ND. My uncle asked his mom if he was gonna commit any time soon and she said "maybe, I don't know. He's not rushing it. He'll more than likely end up at Notre Dame whenever he decides the time is right." You don't have to believe me if you don't want to but I stick with my story. There is a small chance if he has some life changing experience at OSU or something that he could change his mind but I seriously doubt it.
