No you are not delusional. Palmer like most people on TV have no idea what they are talking about. You cant really be on top of all the teams out there so you have to just make some guesses. Regardless of last year, we still have more talent than any other conference team...period! We will be much improved on D and offensively, even if we become solid, that is a vast imrovement. To me, there is not reason we cannot go undefeated, but realistically, we will stumble somewhere. As as its not against Meatchicken.

Last year, many people here thought it was outrageous when i predicted we would lose 4 games for last season. This year, barring any serious injuries I think we could run the table...not officially predicting yet but 0-2 losses is what my gut/mind combo are saying.

Palmer is a SEC guy. He was crying yesterday that the Playoffs should be the Top 4...conference champs shouldn't matter. Standard SEC line these days. He is probably monitoring the SEC meetings in Destin this week so that he can maintain all the talking points. Doesn't matter...it will be top 3 conference champs and a wild card. I got Finebaum to admit it will be a format closer to Delaney' s proposal than Slives (yes, I called his program yesterday). They can suck on it...the B1G still rules!!!

Who cares what that tool thinks?? I cannot take anything from ESPiN seriously. The season starts in 3 months and I can't wait to see what our team looks like. 10 wins MINIMUM and I see no real reason we can't win em all but then again, I wear scarlet glasses!

In Palmer's defense, after our win over Akron last year, he predicted we would win 11 games with our only loss being against Wisconsin. So its not like he hasn't been more optimistic for us than he should have been in the past. In fact I wouldn't doubt that his over prediction on us last year is making him go the opposite way on us this year for fear of being burned again.
