alex at 11w just said that in all likely hood he will still be deciding early next month. potential is there to push it back as reported in this article, but according to him we may be getting our hopes up a little to much

I am confused is this kid like pittsburg since birth or something. Osu and pitt aren't even in the same galaxy. And if those coaches do good there at pitt they will get offered a bigger school job.
Is warriner not a beast or something. Not sure with the class we have so far why lineman aren't geeked about the bucks. Plus our depth...it makes no sense, we have the most bcs bowl appearances, played for 3 national titles since 2000, put guys in the league and have urban meyer at the helm, not to mention a freakin boat load of tradition and bucknut nation!

The Big East was bad, and its getting worse. WVU left and Louisville is close to leaving and to date they have added mighty Temple, and it sounds like Buffalo will join Boise State and few other stiffs from lesser conferences as well.
The Big Ten got a lot tougher adding Nebraska, and a Big Ten title game.
Pitt and the Big East will get dominated by Boise State.
Outside of the early lead team, you would think proven winner Meyer over unproven coach from Wisconsin, and the Big Ten preparing you for the next level over a crap pile Big East would be a no brainer.
Lets hope he comes to Friday night lights and Urban keeps working Johnson.

I agree. I think early July is still the most likely decision date, but you can bet OSU will be working him diligently to come back to Columbus.

I also think even if he committs once he sees their product on the field versus ours, there may be some buyers remorse and second thoughts. There is few gameday atmospheres like the horseshoe and urbans teams will win, and with interviews pre and post game he will create a confident swagger. Its on, those that come will be champs.

I don't understand the thought process that puts a school like Pitt over a school like Ohio State. To me its like saying a Ford Pinto is better than a Lamborghini. WTH?

He favors Pitt simply because it's close to his family. That's the biggest factor. Even if OSU beats Pitt in every other category, it might not be enough to get him. Hopefully everything else will change his mind. He'd be a huge commit and would instantly end the offensive line panic around here.

I feel ya. But Columbus is only a 3 and a half hour drive from Pitt. Practically in his backyard as well.
