IMO Hall is valuable asset to the offense..We may never confuse Hall with either Chris Rainey or Jeff Demps (sp).. But what Hall brings is something neither Hyde or Dunn has the quickness to provide a burst out of the backfield like Braxton Miller can.
That changeup alone gives a true perimeter running element to the read-option game Meyer and offensive coordinator Tom Herman have created.
Hall also gives Ohio State a true passing option in the backfield, opening up a screen game if that's the option they choose to take. Hyde and Dunn, to this point, have not proven to be viable options in the passing game yet.
And Hall can add two very important qualities that should not be overlooked..leadership and experience..The role model for the young freshman can never be underestimated

I love how people are bashing Duane for his opinion. What had Hall done at OSU for everyone to give him the benefit that he is going to be an asset over a position of need e.g WR. My prediction is the same people that want him will be bashing him when he is averaging 3 yards per carry and the next Mo Wells
Old gray man just ain't what he used to be ain't what used to be.
Always borrow money from a pessimist; he won't expect it back.
